Barbara Mangan Sondag recently relocated from The Netherlands to the Bay Area to become the privacy counsel for the eBay North American and Global Product teams. For the past 12 years Barbara has been working in Amsterdam, following her LL.M. degree in Law and Economics at the University of Utrecht. During that time she worked at Compuware and later at Linxtelecom, where she wrote Binding Corporate Rules for the business. Since 2012 Barbara has been with eBay, building a privacy program for the eBay Classifieds Group websites as their first privacy counsel. Barbara earned her BA in French and International Relations from Lake Forest College and her JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law.

Paul Lanois is a legal counsel at Credit Suisse and is an attorney admitted to the New York Bar and the Paris (France) Bar. He regularly publishes articles on technology law and is frequently invited to speak on such topics. He was an Associate Professor at the University of Cergy-Pontoise in France and an associate at major international law firms (Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, Allen & Overy, Linklaters). He graduated from the University of Paris-Sorbonne (France) with a Master's degree in Business Law and a postgraduate degree in Private and Public Economic Law. He also holds an LL.M. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (USA). He holds the CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPP/C and CIPT certifications.
